- La película “Febre do rato” de Cláudio Assis ganó el Premio Havana Star de mejor largometraje en el Havana Film Festival New York (HFFNY)que terminó la noche del 19 de abril.
La película compitió junto con otras 18 producciones latinoamericanas. El Festival fue del 12 al 19 de abril y exhibió largometrajes de América Latina, el Caribe y de latinos en Estados Unidos en varias salas de la ciudad y en el Instituto Cervantes.
Sobre “Febre do rato” el jurado dijo:
“a poetic and raw film, multilayered, a despairing view of the place of poetry and anarchy in our society, destined to be eaten by rats. This is also a film that you will take home and you will think about,”
- The 14th Havana Film Festival NY announced the Havana Star Prize Winners during a packed Closing Night Ceremony at the New York Directors Guild Theater. Rat Fever (Febre do Rato) by Claudio Assis (Brazil) won the Havana Star Prize for Best Feature.

The jury described Best Picture Rat Fever as “a poetic and raw film, multilayered, a despairing view of the place of poetry and anarchy in our society, destined to be eaten by rats. This is also a film that you will take home and you will think about,”
- “Febre do Rato” de Cláudio Assis ganhou o prêmio Havana Star de melhor longa-metragem na 14ª edição do Havana Film Festival New York (HFFNY), apresentado pelos Amigos Americanos da Fundação Ludwig de Cuba (AFLFC). Foram apresentados mais de 45 filmes oriundos e sobre a América Latina, o Caribe e os latinos nos EUA exibidos entre 12 e 19 abril, em seis locais de três bairros de Nova York.
“Estamos muito orgulhosos de ter construído uma sólida presença na já ocupada paisagem cultural de Nova York, como um ponto de convergência para cineastas latinos já estabelecidos e também emergentes.
