BIO
Also known as LUCKAS PERRO (Colombia, 1981) is an anthropologist and a filmmaker with a Master’s degree in Visual Anthropology at FLACSO in Equador. He has been a professor in the Department of Anthropology and the Department of Communication at the University of Antioquia. He has directed eight documentaries and twelve hip-hop video clips. He has also worked in TV stations as Señal Colombia and Teleantioquia. He is currently developing several film scripts. Songs that flood the river is his first feature-length documentary.

También conocido como LUCKAS PERRO (Colombia 1981) Antropólogo, guionista y realizador, con master en antropología visual. Ha dirigido documentales y ficción, videoclips de hip hop y desarrollado guiones para diferentes formatos. Ha sido docente en varias universidades colombianas en el área de documental etnográfico y desarrollo de proyectos cinematográficos. Su cortometraje de ficción El Juicio fue estrenado en la última entrega del Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano de la Habana 2020. Cantos que inundan el río es su opera prima documental.

Também conhecido como LUCKAS PERRO (Colômbia, 1981) Antropólogo, roteirista e cineasta, com mestrado em antropologia visual pela Universidade FLACSO de Equador. Dirigiu documentários e ficção, videoclipes de hip hop e desenvolveu roteiros para diversos formatos. Ele lecionou em várias universidades colombianas na área de documentário etnográfico e desenvolvimento de projetos cinematográficos. Seu curta de ficção El Juicio estreou na última edição do Festival de Havana, em 2020. Cantos que inundan el río é filme de estréia no documentário.
